United to House LA Citizen Oversight Committee Interest Forms: Seats #5, #8, & #13
The ULA-COC has an open recruitment period to fill Seats five (5), eight (8), and thirteen (13).
Seat #5- Housing Development, Preservation, & Finance: An individual with at least five (5) years’ experience in non-profit Community Land Trusts or community development corporations.
Seat #5 has an initial term of one (1) year with subsequent terms of five (5) years upon reappointment.
Seat #8- Renter Protection & Support: An individual with at least five (5) years’ experience as an organizer or advocate working at a community-based organization to address the housing needs of seniors and/or people with disabilities.
Seat #8 has an initial term of two (2) years with subsequent terms of five (5) years upon reappointment.
Seat #13- Lived Experience & Expertise: An individual with at least five (5) years’ experience as a community leader or an organizer advocating for high-quality transit near affordable housing and job centers and for identifying mobility options associated with the production of affordable housing.
Seat #13 has an initial term of one (1) year with subsequent terms of five (5) years upon reappointment.
